Acerca de Vivian
I was a Project Engineer with office and site experience in design, construction supervision and design co-ordination of hydro and pyro metallurgical plants. I have been involved in tailings recovery projects at Nchanga in Zambia, nickel heap leach in Turkey, gold plants in Australia and Azerbijan, and four years working as a mechanical engineer on the design and construction of the Channel Tunnel Project UK-France. Other project experience includes smelting and gas handling environmental projects at Pirdop Bulgaria, La Oroya Peru, Falconbridge and Sudbury Canada, Mufulira and Nkana Zambia, Altonorte Chile, Karabasmed Russia, RTB Bor Serbia and Sarcheshmeh Iran. Overseas work included assignments for SNC Lavalin in Santiago, Chile as Project Design Co-ordinator for Mejillones Feasibility Study, Area Manager for Isasmelt Furnace on Mufulira Smelter Upgrade Project in Johannesburg, Area Manager for Roaster and Magnetic Separation Plants for Mineral Sands Projects in Mozambique also based in Johannesburg, and Area Manager on the RTB Bor Serbia Smelter Rehabilitation Project based in Santiago Chile up to May 2013. From 2013 I am living in France with my wife running a host family home, providing English and Language support to French learners.

My lessons may have an opening to break the ice, the introduction to a topic and then, the conversation is open and flexible, based on oral expression and listening comprehension. I am willing to direct the conversation to where it turns trying so to set up a real interchange of ideas with the students.
