Hi! I'm Sofía, a native Spanish speaker from Mexico, and what drives me most is watching people grow. There's something truly special about that moment when a student says their first full sentence with confidence, or finally understands a song they used to find impossible — that progress is what got me into teaching and what keeps me loving it. As a native speaker, I bring something textbooks simply can't offer: a deep, instinctive understanding of how Spanish really works — the rhythm, the slang, the little nuances that make the difference between sounding okay and sounding natural. I combine that with a Cambridge-based methodology and a personalized approach designed around you, your interests, and your goals.

Here's how my classes work:
Before we start, I take the time to get to know you — what music you listen to, what shows you watch, whether you're learning Spanish to travel, for work, or simply because you fell in love with the language. From there, I build a completely personalized system around you
. In each class we work with real material: a song you like, a YouTube video, an article about something you find interesting. You'll learn the Spanish people actually speak, in contexts you already know and care about — which makes vocabulary and grammar stick naturally.
My approach is grounded in the Cambridge methodology, which focuses on developing all four language skills in a balanced way: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Your progress will be solid and consistent, not just a handful of disconnected phrases.
Each class has structure, but also flexibility. If one day you want to focus on pronunciation, grammar, or just have a conversation — we do it. You set the pace, I bring the roadmap.
