I believe that learning English should feel empowering, not intimidating. I want to help students build confidence in their speaking skills, and create a space, encouraging space for them to practice. My background in instructional design and my TEFL/TESOL certification have given me a strong foundation in creating clear, engaging, and learner-centered lessons.
I focus on conversation-based learning. I believe students learn best by speaking, not just memorizing grammar rules. I use real-life topics, visual aids, and gentle correction to help students improve naturally.
Each lesson typically follows a simple flow:
> Warm-up (5 min): Casual conversation to ease into the English lesson.
> Main topic (20 min): Vocabulary, phrases, or grammar based on the student's goals.
> Practice (10 min): Speaking exercises, scenarios, or Q&A sessions.
> Wrap-up (5 min): Review and feedback!
I offer flexible lesson lengths (30–60 minutes) and tailor each session to the student's level and interests. I can help with pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, or general conversation practice.
I work with beginners to intermediate learners, including adults and older teens. I have experience with students preparing for travel, work, or personal growth. My TEFL/TESOL certification and background in instructional design allow me to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
