Acerca de Saleh
Me as a teacher:
I love teaching because I can be who I am when I do it. I have been teaching Arabic to non-native speakers for 5 years now. I worked with students from different nationalities with a wide variety of cultures that made me understand people from different parts of the world better. I have had lots of students from beginner to advanced levels and I always structure my lessons depending on the needs of each student.
I respect all my students and I try to encourage and motivate them first of all, giving them a lot of praise and showing them how fascinating and easy languages are.
I started off my teaching career in an International Company as we used to have an international crew from different countries and at that time I was responsible for teaching and giving the material to facilitate for them learn the language. Also when I moved to live in Spain, I worked for a year as Arabic and English teacher for people from different countries. I have travelled around 15 countries working and learning about people’s culture.
I believe in language and translation makes it possible to break through words and barriers to hear the voice of the other and be heard.

My lessons and teaching style:
I have created Google Classroom, for each level from A1 until C1 with my own material and books that I have used to teach grammar, writing, listening, reading and speaking for many years and they have proved to be very effective. I also use many tools such as Kahoot, Zoom, Genialy and Memorize.
The lessons are adapting tools and materials according to students` needs. I also use Youtube videos, movies and group discussion to hear how native speak and express themselves then we discuss. I use also articles from news websites in case you want to be up to date with what's new in the arabe world and Arabic language.

About me:
Hello my name is Saleh Seddik,
I am an English, Arabic, and Spanish speaker. I am originally from Cairo, Egypt.
I have worked as a professional freelance translator for over 5 years, however, my love for learning foreign languages in general has a life-long history. Languages have been a great subject in my life. As a student of languages obsessed by the way it determines our identities, the way it permits us to describe ourselves.
I moved to live in Barcelona, Spain in 2018 for the sake of gaining more languages.
I decided to be a translator although I studied International Relations and Political Science.
I've also participated in several projects around Europe, giving trainings and workshops about non-formal education and teaching English, Arabic to young people. I also had several other initiatives regarding teaching languages with gamification and non-formal educational methods.
