My Teaching Methodology & Techniques
My approach does not rely on rigid theoretical lectures or memorizing grammar rules by heart; I position myself as a strategic tutor and learning companion. My methodology is 100% active and based on conversational immersion.
I use guided dialogue about topics of real interest to the student, allowing vocabulary and pronunciation corrections to flow naturally. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can lose the fear of making mistakes and build massive confidence from day one.
Sample Lesson Plan (60 minutes)
00-10 min | Warm-up & Connection: A fluid, casual chat about your week or current events to get your brain thinking in Spanish.
10-40 min | Core Topic (Simulation or Debate): We dive into the main topic proposed for the session (e.g., job interview prep, simulating a business presentation, or discussing a social impact case study).
40-55 min | Constructive Feedback: We review session notes together, highlighting pronunciation tweaks, new keywords, and more natural phrasing alternatives.
55-60 min | Wrap-up & Next Steps: We define a light focus or a short reading/topic for our next meeting.
