Acerca de Johanna
I'm a life-long learner.
Born and raised in Palermo, Buenos Aires, I've studied English all my life to then become a translator.
At age 17, I started tutoring my young neighbors and later was hired by schools and institutes to teach in several companies until I realized I had enough experience to go on my own.
In the middle of all that, some of my coordinators asked me whether I was interested in teaching Spanish and I said yes! Teaching both languages made it even easier to explain differences and it's a pleasure to explain the passion we Argentines feel for our country and costumes, leave aside our slang!
So here I am, more than 10 ys later, still enjoying every class. It's been quite a ride, but still a lot of fun.
I plan up every lesson as if it were the first and I'm always up for a good challenge!
Meeting new people and getting the chance to help them out with the language is a bliss.
I just love my job :)

My classes are custom-designed and I can teach you master all the skills, but from experience, I know most of us want to be able to produce well orally, understand, and be understood.
That is, we want to TALK and COMMUNICATE in order to travel, meet new people, do business, make friends, etc
Tongue twisters, pronunciation drills (or what I like to call "mouth gym"), games, brain breaks, engaging and challenging activities for all ages and needs in a safe space, where mistakes are just one more way of learning.
You will learn idiomatic expressions, updated lingo and everything you need to know, and all that grammar will be included without you even noticing and explained in depth if needed.
(Yeap, I'm a language nerd, but I know how to make a fun class!)
