I would like to teach a Superhero Creative Writing Class. The students will create their own Superheroes and tell the story of that Superhero.
Superhero Creative Writing Class
This is a one-time class, (9-11), students will create a Superhero story from scratch and share their story with the class. We will also discuss Superhero trivia in the class about Marvel and DC Comics. At the end of the class, the students will help create a Superhero poster from the official Marvel website.
My goal in creating this class is to spark the creativity and imagination of the students. I also want to build teamwork amongst the students with various team-building exercises.
I will begin with the class rules and introductions. I will then explain what the class is about. We will discuss Superhero trivia and how the Superhero impacted the world.
This is a proactive course and the students will have many opportunities to share their ideas.
