I am Reika's husband. We’e been married for 20 years. She’s always been supportive of whatever I want to do, both at work and in everyday life.

One of the things she values most is world peace. This might sound like a big dream, but she believes world peace starts by making people around her happy, and she does that every day. To achieve this, although she is naturally more introverted, she actively seeks to connect with others and learn from those around her. I deeply respect this mindset of hers.

Recently, she has been finding ways to help others through teaching Japanese, and this has become a big part of our everyday communication. For this purpose, she puts daily effort into making people happy through her own unique ideas and experiences. As her husband, I believe that through her lessons, you will experience not only learning Japanese, but also the joy of connecting with others and making a small but meaningful difference.

私はReika先生のレッスンを受け始めて、3年半以上になります。
まずお伝えしたいのは、Reika先生は語学を教えるプロであるということです。

語学学習は楽しくて自分の世界を広げてくれる一方で、必ず壁にぶつかるものでもあります。そんな時に、寄り添ってくれる先生の存在は本当に心強いものです。

Reika先生は、私の不安や疑問をいつもじっくりと聞いてくださり、その時の自分に必要な学び方や取り組み方を的確にアドバイスしてくれます。また、どんなに些細な質問にも丁寧に向き合ってくださるので、安心して学び続けることができています。だからこそ、これほど長くお世話になっているのだと思います。

I first met Reika through my friend, and I’m so happy I did! I’ve learned so much from her—not just language, but also culture. Reika is an amazing Japanese teacher, senpai, and friend. She makes learning language fun and meaningful, teaching not only grammar and vocabulary in Japanese and English, but also sharing her love for Japanese culture, like kimono and the tea ceremony. She has given me valuable insights into how Japanese people think, behave, and feel, helping me understand my Japanese friends better and make many friends in Sapporo. Her kind and attentive nature makes every lesson comfortable, engaging, and inspiring. Learning with her feels effortless, like chatting with a friend, and in just six months, I’ve grown so much thanks to her guidance.

れいか先生は、一人ひとりの特性に合わせた授業を丁寧に組み立ててくれます。学ぶ人の気持ちに寄り添いながら進めてくれる先生です。

言葉の背景や、その人の生活に合った使い方を大切にしてして、教科書通りの日本語はもちろん、友だちとの会話など実際に使える日本語も学べます。英語にも対応しているため、必要に応じて英語でのフォローもしてくれます。
