Acerca de Claudia
My name is Claudia García and I am a Spanish teacher from Barcelona, Spain. I have more than 5 years of experience teaching Spanish to foreigners. During this time I have taught students from all countries and from all ages, as well as all levels. I studied Philosophy at the University of Barcelona (UB) and later I studied a master to become a Spanish teacher at the same university. I am also examiner from Instituto Cervantes so I can prepare you If you are interested to pass the DELE exam.

Since I started teaching Spanish I realized than teaching my language is my passion. I like to do my classes in a completely personalized way, considering the objectives of the student. My classes are fun and relaxed, so that my students can practise their Spanish in a comfortable environment. But I think what does my lessons really useful is my approach to grammar (I did a thesis about this :)). I always try to explain grammar in a very intuitive way and relating grammar to a communicative objetive.
I use different online programmes and my own materials in order to do a dynamic and effective class. I also follow a communicative method so my students are speaking Spanish from the beginning :)
