Acerca de Luke
Hi! I'm Luke, I trained as an actor and theatre maker at Goldsmiths, London with a BA in Theatre and Performance. As well as acting professionally, I have been running workshops and guiding experienced actors and curious newcomers since graduating. I co-founded and am co-artistic director of Snippet Theatre Company and have performed at the National Theatre in London, The Melbourne Arts Centre in Australia and across Spain.

Audition Prep and General Acting Lessons:
I work over Zoom and will work with you on the text of your choice. This may be a specific speech or scene for an audition or exam that you are preparing for or, for general acting lessons, a script that interests you and that you would like to perform. We will break down the scene and discover together your most natural performance.
I will . . .
- Help you discover the character and their motivations
- Help you find new and dynamic ways to explore the text
- Ensure that your performance involves a clear journey with colourful dynamics
- Give you guidance and tips on nerves and anxieties about auditioning
- Ensure that your physicality and stage presence reads as well as your mastership of the text
- Make sure that you go into any audition or exam feeling confident, prepared and ready to perform
Public Speaking:
Again working over Zoom, I will introduce you to vocal exercises and strategies to combat nerves and anxieties. We will work together to develop a calm and confident stage presence using a variety of techniques that suit you most. I will help you to ensure that each time you step up to speak, you have a toolbox full of tricks to use to be calm, confident and collected.
